Fillings

Silver amalgam fillings have been in use for over 100 years. There is now NEW technology that allows a tooth to be filled with a strong chemically bonded material that can be matched to the color of your tooth making it appear nearly invisible. Research has proven that a tooth with a natural colored boned filling is 90-95% as strong as a natural non-cavity healthy tooth, whereas a silver filling is only 40-45% as strong as a non-cavity tooth. Tooth colored filling are beautiful in appearance, they are completed in a single visit, there’s less chance of the tooth cracking.

Composite Fillings
Composite “Tooth Colored” Fillings are the most popular choice for cavity repair. The Composite Fillings bonds to the tooth giving it an unlikely chance to become loose or fall out like traditional “mercury” Silver Fillings tend to often do. Natural tooth colored composite fillings are also more attractive looking because they can be matched to your teeth’s natural color.
